There are also a wide range of opportunities for an academic career in the nursing profession.
Nurses can specialize in the areas they are interested in by continuing postgraduate education and work as specialist nurses. In their career life, they can work as academicians in universities with the opportunities of promotion as doctor, associate professor and professor by doing a doctorate in their academic field.
As Istanbul Health and Technology University Department of Nursing; We aim to train nurses who can provide scientific evidence-based high quality health care to individuals, who can continue their professional practices at international standards in accordance with the technological variables of the age, who have the knowledge and skills to conduct scientific studies and research in the field of nursing; We aim to train nurses who are competent and equipped in their field and who are preferred both nationally and internationally to compete at world standards.
