In our age of rapid technological development, the critical importance of nutrition and dietetic principles for the protection and improvement of public health and welfare is increasing in terms of planning, implementation and follow-up of nutrition to solve nutritional problems with clinical applications or to support medical treatment.

Istanbul Health and Technology University Department of Nutrition and Dietetics aims to train competent dietitians who can create scientific solutions for the protection and improvement of the nutritional levels of society and individuals, organize nutrition plans and programs effectively, follow scientific developments and adapt them to their professional practices, have professional ethics and understanding.

Our graduates can work in hospitals, maternal and child health centers, dialysis centers, polyclinics, various public and private institutions, food and beverage businesses, hotels, nursing homes, elderly care homes, nurseries and food industry or can be employed as academicians.
